Renton is Seattle’s neighbor on the south shores of Lake Washington. This town has played an important part in my life. It was I place where I lived, worked, raised my kids, enjoyed espresso, and took part in art walks. It took me a while to turn my lens on Renton, but when I did, I discovered a tremendous amount of architectural diversity. It is fun to walk around in downtown, where an elegant mission revival church stands next to an outrageously mid-century modern club, or a beautifully preserved craftsman house shares the block with a delightfully peeling shack. Enjoy the photo essays of my meanderings around town.
