Graphic Design

Experience

Over my freelance and in-house design career, I have designed for small businesses & non-profits, artists and event organizers. My design has advanced development efforts, conveyed statistics, promoted cultural events, popularized educational programs, and accompanied emerging artists.

Approach

Every good design starts with a strong concept, and I consider concept development ability one of my biggest strengths. I usually begin projects with a healthy amount of research and develop several divergent concepts, which helps me create a design product that is informed, inspired, and relevant to the client’s target audience. My other strengths include the ability to create consistent campaigns across a variety of mediums, and the ability to work with a gamut of budgets.

Disclaimer

The final design product is often the result of extensive art direction, some good, and some – not so much. I have modified some of the portfolio samples from their published versions for clarity and consistency, and to bring them closer to my original vision. I will also be glad to present my concept books during a serious interview.
